Background
My path began in engineering, moved through finance and business, and developed through professional work in simulation, consulting, digital commerce, data analysis, and blockchain. Each stage changed the questions I ask: not only whether a technology works, but how it fits into organizations, decisions, responsibilities, and everyday practice.
Today, I bring those perspectives into Information Systems research. My work connects organizational theory, AI governance, cybersecurity, system design, and computational methods.
Read My Background →Research
My research examines how organizations translate governance principles, regulatory obligations, and risk judgments into operational capabilities and technical mechanisms.
Featured Writing
Why AI Governance Must Be Designed, Not Merely Declared
A written AI policy can state what an organization expects. It cannot see where AI is being used, determine whether human oversight is meaningful, stop an unsafe system, or learn from failure. Those capabilities must be designed.
